Meadow’s Intention to Bring Hotel Life to Your Home

Meadow started as a place that we could transfer the loved and adored components of hotel life into each customer’s individual home. Unfortunately, it’s not possible for us to actually live inside a hotel forever (unless, of course, we’re Eloise living at The Plaza!). But, our goal at Meadow is to take as many of those luxury elements that we’ve come to associate with hotel life and give you the opportunity to bring them into your own homes. We hope to inspire you to create a lovely, luxurious sanctuary amidst a hectic, chaotic life.

When Meadow founder Stacy Valner is staying at a hotel, there are certain things that she always loves to indulge in. Wrapping up in a plush bathrobe and savoring the decadent scents of fine hotels, and cherishing the pads of paper on the bedside table to write down travel memories are all things that have stuck with her over the years. This was the inspiration behind Meadow’s luxury line of silk and cashmere robes, aromatic candles, and fine stationery.

Stacy feels lucky that her four children are always visiting home, joining Sunday night dinners, and entertaining their friends at home as well. For Stacy, there’s a certain pride and joy that comes with knowing that her children are eager and willing to return home frequently. As a result, there is not much of a need to travel and stay in hotels too often. So, Stacy began pondering how she could create that luxurious hotel feeling even when she is in her own home.

“I make sure to find time to unwind,” she says. “I light a candle, slip into one of my Meadow robes, have a cup of tea or glass of wine (depending on the time of day), and savor the power of pause by meditating, journaling, or calling a friend or my mom to catch up.”
